Millerbernd Manufacturing Co. Local Parts Truck Driver in Winsted, Minnesota
NOW HIRING: Millerbernd Manufacturing is hiring a Local Parts Truck Driver to join our team! This role is responsible for proper operation of fleet vehicles to deliver product to and from MMC facilities/production cells in a courteous and timely manner.
As a Local Parts Truck Driver, you will:.
Fastens chain or binders to secure load on trailer during transit
Loads or unloads, or assists in loading and unloading truck
Services vehicles with oil, fuel, and radiator fluid to maintain good working order
Inventories and inspects goods to be moved
Wraps goods using pads, packing paper, and containers, and secures load to trailer using straps
Places vehicles, to the extent safe and feasible, at the locations required by shipper/receiver
Maintains vehicle inspection log according to MMC policy
Complies with federal drug and alcohol testing and training regulations as required
May use crane, hoist, forklift or other material handling equipment to transport materials and product into and out of the work area as required
Role Qualifications as a Local Parts Truck Driver:
High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Valid Class B CDL may be required
Proficient knowledge in interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings
Computer literate; particularly in word processing, spreadsheet, email, shop floor control, production planning, and inventory control applications
Ability to read and understand required internal manufacturing paperwork
Effective and appropriate oral and written communication skills, including legible handwriting in English
