Description: A Project Coordinator job in Windsor, CT is currently available at Belcan. This is a full-time direct job with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will have a 2 year degree (4 year business degree preferred) and at least two years of experience performing clerical, administrative, and project management duties. Experience in an engineering environment with accountability for output or responsibility for directing others" efforts is preferred. In this role, you will be working closely with the Engineering Managers and Supervisors to perform various clerical, administrative, and project management tasks. This is a highly visible role with opportunities for advancement.

Job Duties:

  • Follow multiple projects simultaneously; Input, track, and update project progress, including project quality plans, status reports, risk assessments, team members, milestones, deliverables, and budget.

  • Monitor compliance in the terms of the contract, the project quality plan, project directives, and applicable Belcan procedures.

  • Support new or revised proposals for potential or existing projects; quality checklists, project reservations, quote sheets, and data entry.

  • Communicate effectively with the leads and project team for understanding of requirements associated with the tasks performed.

  • Address problems quickly and elevate concerns to the project team and/or your supervisor.

  • Maintain a positive attitude toward the project team, clients, contractors, management, and peers at all times.

  • Perform clerical and administrative work related to new hires, transfers, separations, expense reports, and office assets.

  • Ensure that all records are stored securely and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required:

  • Two or more years of experience performing clerical, administrative, and project management duties.

  • 2 year or 4 year degree (business degree preferred).

  • Microsoft Office/PC skills.

  • Strong work ethic and professionalism.

  • Trustworthy with confidential information.

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, highly organized, and detail oriented.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • US Citizen required due to nature of work.

Preferred:

Experience working in an engineering environment.

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $45,000 to $65,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
