GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Support the PLEXSYS Australia Synthetic Environment and Training Manager to provide support to users of the PLEXSYS Ecosystem, as well as providing training and support to other Synthetic Environment Specialists and other employees with operational expertise. Responsibilities include, at the direction of the Synthetic Environment and Training Manager management of help desk operations, development, and implementation of proactive customer support initiatives. Coordinate with development stakeholders to assign Synthetic Environment Operators in providing input for software development teams, assist in designing software user- interfaces, develop product databases, exercise scenarios, use PLEXSYS products to drive live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) exercises/events, and train internal and external users in the operation of PLEXSYS products.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the training and development of Modeling and Simulation SMEs in multiple geographically separated locations on behalf of the Director, PLEXSYS Australia

  • Maintain oversight and execution of customer product support, warranty, and support commitments, help desk operations and quality assurance goals.

  • Participate on product software development teams, providing operational input to help define requirements and assist in the development of user-interface design.

  • Educate Modeling and Simulation SMEs on how to interact with potential and existing customers via demonstration, or description of product use and operational

  • At the direction of the Synthetic Environment and Training Manager, train internal/external customers in the operational use of PLEXSYS

  • Assist in the management Full Time Equivalent Support to 41WG, ensuring agreed tasks and Training aims are met.

  • Provide SES support to a very diverse, dynamic, and demanding work environment covering multiple directorates

  • Ability to think critically and guide employees working through difficult tasks under stressful situations in both domestic and foreign locations.

  • Be able to manage diverse and dynamic travel and daily work schedules for employees in multiple geographical locations.

  • Support PLEXSYS products in LVC exercises and training events.

  • Support the development and maintenance of databases, scenarios, and product use cases in support of PLEXSYS ASCOT product lines.

  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and update of internal training products.

  • Lead the creation of High-level scenarios that showcase PLEXSYS products in relation to strategic campaigns.

  • Maintain a high level of understanding of PLEXSYS products and operational use cases.

  • Support the creation, standardisation, and upkeep of Training plans and materials.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 8 years’ military experience in C4ISR/Combat Operations/ Intelligence career field required. 10 years is highly desired.

  • Minimum 6 years’ military or civilian managerial experience

  • Experience conducting presentations and training to both internal and external

  • Ability to travel both domestic and

  • Proficiency with all PLEXSYS software

  • Experience developing product demonstrations using a variety of techniques and

  • Familiar with computer components and ability to diagnose basic hardware

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel is required.

  • Security Clearance: Secret or above
