Readington Farms, Inc. processes and distributes milk products in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Readington Farms, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Wakefern Food Corporation.Manage the timely and accurate delivery activities of the Distribution Center including driver management, equipment utilization, and fleet maintenance. Oversee record keeping and compliance in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations. Directs all transportation activities including reviewing of routes, developing bid packages, scheduling driver/representatives. Responsible for the overall safety program for the Transportation Department. Recruits and selects new Driver Representatives and other transportation department candidates. Establish training activities for new Driver Representatives and other transportation personnel. Investigates accidents equipment, and cost of damages to the CompanyMinimum Required Qualifications:Degree in Business Administration/Logistics/Material Management or equivalent experience. 3 - 5 years of transportation management experience in the food distribution industry. Proven track record in all phases of transportation. Excellent communication skills and sound decision-making abilities. Excellent inter-personal skills.
