Job Title: Scientist

Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Scientist to perform a range of laboratory and manufacturing activities within the pharmaceutical domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure quality, safety, purity, strength, and identity. This role involves setting up and operating lab equipment, troubleshooting analytical methods, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, the Scientist will be engaged in developing and validating analytical methods, writing protocols and reports, and conducting manufacturing activities for inhalation drug products. The individual will support project timelines, communicate effectively with team members, lead small project tasks, and train other scientists, all while adhering to cGMP, EH&S, and other relevant guidelines.

Hard Skills

• Analytical chemistry knowledge in HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR

• Broad knowledge of pharmaceutical development and manufacturing

• Knowledge of FDA cGMP requirements

• Understanding of USP methodologies and ICH guidelines

• Experience with method transfer protocols

• Ability to prepare and maintain lab documentation

• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical calculations

Soft Skills

• Ability to conduct tasks with minimal supervision

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Effective communication with team members and external customers

• Capacity to train other scientists independently

• Proactive contribution to team objectives

• Ability to lead small project tasks with minimal supervision

• Establishing and maintaining effective team relationships

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Weston, Florida.

Work Environment

The work environment is a GMP and cleanroom setting, demanding a high level of attention to detail and adherence to strict protocols similar to those at major pharmaceutical companies.
