Position Description :

Our Patient Safety Assistants provide direct observation for patients requiring supervision for safety reasons. This includes patients on suicide precautions and patients with compromised judgment pertaining to safety related falls risk, interference with therapeutic equipment and patients who need companions due to state of confusion or agitation. Position will perform Transporter duties as assigned and support duties to nursing units as needed.

Minimum Requirements :

Education Training and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent.

Must complete on the job orientation and training as scheduled.

Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.

Licensure/Certification

CPR certification required. Must attain this certification during orientation if not certified at time of hire.
