Job Summary
Job Title: Food Court Manager

Supervisor: Store Director
Provides leadership to food court associates in an effort to ensure an enjoyable shopping experience is consistently delivered and all company policies and procedures are being upheld. Contributes to store sales and profitability by effectively managing all aspects of the food court operations (Caribou coffee, pizza, Asian cuisine, and popcorn) to include but is not limited to: labor, expenses, stock levels, and guest service.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages food court labor goals by creating associate schedules and collaborating with store leadership on daily/weekly/annual labor objectives
Manages all aspects of food court gross profit goals, planning and shrink control
Leads and reinforces Festival culture, guest service and performance expectations for all food court associates
Responsible for the training and leadership of new food courtassociates
Provides guidance and delegates duties to food court leads
Develops associates by supporting professional goals and objectives
Writes and conducts performance reviews of the food court associates
Documents violations of company policies/procedures by food court associates and conducts the appropriate corrective action in collaboration with HR Manager and Store Director
Delegates and oversees all tasks in the food court
Encourages teamwork through daily operations
Ensures all department standards are being met in the food court
Works with the Food Court Leads to ensure success for the entire food court operation
Ensures correct signage is represented throughout the food court
Observes sales floor and back stock conditions; takes action to correct areas of opportunity
Maintains appropriate inventory levels and ensures accurate pricing on products received and sold
Ensures high quality product and service within food court to drive growth in sales
Places orders with various vendors for special orders and holidays, utilizing item movement as needed
Provides excellent guest services by addressing concerns, resolving issues and living the boomerang principle
Assists all food court associates with daily responsibilities while leading by example
Contributes to overall cleanliness of the café by maintaining, organizing, and cleaning work areas, shelving, and sales floor as needed
Responsible for food court associates timekeeping and accuracy
Timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS

High School Education or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous experience leading a food court operation preferred
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Must posses great oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of technology and the use of a computer
Thorough knowledge of the retail food business, thorough knowledge of perishable department operations, and/or merchandising skills
Ability to make timely and effective decisions
Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and all personnel
Knowledge and understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies
Must possess the ability to apply on-the-job safety training to recognize and react to possible safety hazards on store premises.
Proper training and knowledge of the following equipment/procedures: Hand jack, slicers, baler, trash compactor, fryer, oven, grinders, and mixers
Must be ServeSafe Certified
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Stand in place for a long period of time, bend, stoop, and kneel regularly
Full range of upper body motion
Lifting up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
May be exposed to extreme temperatures
WORK SCHEDULE
The Food Court Manager is a full-time, salaried position
This position may work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on what business dictates
