Description Lutheran Social Services is currently seeking a Therapist In Training to join our growing Family Preservation Services team. We provide Comprehensive Community Services to clients in Lincoln, Langlade, Marathon, Taylor, Wood, and Portage Counties. Our Therapists provide psychotherapy and or psychoeducation services in the client\'s home, within the community or at our office. We are flexible and work collaboratively with the client, their family, and the county to deliver services based on the individual\'s needs. Therapist will provide trauma-informed, evidenced-based mental health counseling, guidance and treatment planning to children, adolescents, and families. Clinical supervision is provided. A full time, benefit eligible, salaried role, may require evenings and some weekends. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate additional information as needed for a clear clinical picture Conduct training groups and child specific training with families Involvement in crisis as indicated, support for on call staff Review treatment/service plans Meet with parents, either in group or one on one meetings Family meetings with higher needs families and new families Identify families at risk of exiting program, identify ways to retain the families Provide education, consultation, and support to foster families and LSS foster care workers Coordinate additional information as needed for a clear clinical picture Conduct training groups and child specific training with families Involvement in crisis as indicated, support...
