Join us as our new Quality Control Associate

The primary focus of this role will be onboarding new products to Quality Control Laboratories, ensuring that all testing requirements are defined and implemented according to company standards, customer requirements and regulatory guidelines.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

  • Collaborating with R&D, SQM and PM teams to understand the testing requirements for new products and projects.

  • Developing technical data sheet for LIMS setup for raw materials, packaging components, intermediate and finish goods.

  • Developing and maintaining project plans for onboarding new products to the QC lab, ensuring that all activities are completed on schedule.

  • Developing and maintaining internal specifications for blends and intermediates.

  • Coordinating with internal and external laboratories to ensure turnaround times are accurate for new testing setup.

  • Reviewing and updating technical documentation, including test methods, SOPs, and validation protocols to include new products.

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of new testing methods and procedures.

To succeed you must hold:

  • An Associates or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university in Microbiology, Biology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry or related field is preferred

  • 1 to 3 years Quality Control or Quality Assurance work experience in an FDA-regulated industry, preferably dietary supplements or pharmaceuticals is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of microbiology, chemistry and practical application of general laboratory skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • The ability to handle multiple, rapidly changing priorities and handle unanticipated events without losing sight of core responsibilities.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and compliance.

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.

  • Knowledge in SAP, LIMS, Business Intelligence, and Microsoft Office programs.
