This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation that is expanding and leading the way in innovative eye manufacturing technology. We are seeking a Project Engineer to join the business in Waterford & work on new and challenging projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Planning and coordination of assigned engineering projects.

• Deliver project requirements to agreed cost, schedule and quality requirements.

• Development of User Requirement Specifications and other technical documents for tendering, construction and validation of equipment

• Provide technical support to manufacturing/ operational staff in area of expertise.

• Ensure equipment is properly tested to meet all B&L requirements at FAT, SAT and validation.

• Completing engineering analysis and implementing necessary corrective actions to problems.

• Creating frameworks to measure the project's metrics and key data collection.

• Identification and engagement with project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Engineering or Science degree.

• Desirable to have two years of experience within a Project Engineering capacity

• Desirable experience in Medical device or pharmaceutical industry

• Project management experience is desirable and / or further education in a specialist area or Six-Sigma statistical techniques

• Desriable to have injection moulding experience
