Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician with expertise in PLC programming, VFD troubleshooting, and leadership skills to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading our maintenance team, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and optimizing equipment performance to support our production goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations.

  • Oversee the preventive maintenance program to ensure timely inspections and servicing of equipment, including PLC-controlled systems and VFD-driven machinery.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with a focus on minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and other automation systems to optimize equipment performance and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory levels.

  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance equipment reliability and performance.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.

  • Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting, with experience working with Allen-Bradley or Siemens systems preferred.

  • Knowledge of VFDs and motor control systems, including troubleshooting and parameterization.

  • Experience leading a team of maintenance technicians, including assigning tasks, providing training, and evaluating performance.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

salary: $60,000 - $90,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
