Insight Global Sr. Budget Analyst in Washington, District Of Columbia

Job Description

Our client, a management consulting firm, is looking for a Senior Budget Analyst to join their team in support of a government customer. This person will be responsible for providing financial management support surrounding all aspects of the client's planning, programming, budgeting, and execution lifecycle. This is a remote role; however, candidates must be within driving distance to Washington, DC for onsite travel up to 2 days a week.

Primary responsibilities are below:

* Work directly with the government client to provide full lifecycle budget planning and financial management support.

* Support leadership in formulating, interpreting, and applying major financial policies, principles, and procedures in support of future-year planning and current-year budget execution.

* Support the development of program strategy and prioritization of objectives for future funding.

* Providing budget analysis of financial data from multiple sources and presenting distilled findings and recommendations to help inform strategic decisions for client leadership.

* Create budgetary presentations that illustrate financial projections, goals, shortfalls, etc. for federal decision-making.

Skills and Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant financial management experience OR

* Master's Degree and 5 years of relevant experience

* Experience supporting a government client, preferably DHS or DOD

* Active Secret Clearance null
