Supreme Court of the United States Marshal's Aide in Washington, District Of Columbia

Summary This is a full-time position with the Marshal's Office at the Supreme Court of the United States in Washington, D.C. Closing Date: Wednesday, 05/22/2024, 11:59 PM EDT Please note that this vacancy has a limit of 200 applicants. The job opportunity announcement will automatically close if that limit is reached prior to the closing date. Responsibilities Two-year term appointment. The Marshal's Aide responsibilities are varied, and include Courtroom duties, escorting Court guests, assisting at Court-wide special events, and driving Court vehicles to transport Court officials and documents. Aide may also provide clerical support to other vital offices of the Court. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications A valid driver's license and good driving record is required to drive Court vehicles. Prior work experience is desirable. College degree or prior office/clerical experience is also desirable. Basic computer skills a plus. Ability to deal courteously with the public a must. Education A highly motivated individual with at least two years of college education is required.
