Philips Junior Demand Planner in Warszawa, Poland

Junior Demand Planner will manage the volume planning process across selected product categories.

You are responsible for:

  • Creating the baseline demand forecast

  • Maintaining 12 months rolling forecast in planning system in JDA system, consisting of baseline forecast and promotional forecasts (Sales input) and NPI (Marketing input). Weekly exception-based review and adaptation of short term demand plans in JDA using relevant inputs ensuring planning systems to be updated at any time.

  • Acting as business partner and support Marketing/Sales/F&A with fact-based analysis and assumptions underpinning the demand forecast. Prepare and facilitate Sales review and Activity Review meeting to allow decision taking on the final demand plan, highlighting issues like excess stock, constraints etc.

  • Analyzing operational planning performance of sales vs plan. Defines root causes/corrective actions collaborating with other functions as input for next planning cycles.

  • Phase-in/Phase-out management: Recommend items for de-stocking based on inventory turnover/ageing and excess analysis. Maintain/control PHIO plans, highlight issues of supply-demand discrepancies.

  • Inventory Management: Regular review of the commercial inventories. Recommend optimal safety stock levels based on requested service level and inventory targets. Review current and projected excess and ageing stock and drive PDCA.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Graduate with Bachelor or Master degree (minimum education level and/or related major for the role)

  • SAP / JDA knowledge is (mandatory technical skills)

  • Ability to cooperate proactively across many departments in the organization and with external partners (required personal skills)

  • Strong focus on targets an KPIs, managing obsolete stocks, to reduce their financial impact on the company P&L

  • Participating or leading any other projects in the supply chain area

  • English - fluent
