Your New Role…

As Senior FP&A OPEX Analyst, you work within the Global OPEX COE which offers you a great opportunity to participate in the overall finance transformation roadmap setting standards for the financial processes related to OPEX spend.

Your main responsibilities are consolidation of data from multiple ERP and EPM systems as well as development and maintenance of reporting infrastructure in order to drive actionable insights into the performance of WBD.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Data governance in the EPM systems of WBD (BPC SAP & Hyperion) through departments hierarchy maintenance/clean-up, forecast and budget uploads etc.

  • Consolidation of financials retrieved from multiple EPM and ERP systems assuring accuracy and data completeness,

  • Build and maintain database of WBD Opex contractual information,

  • Report on month-end results with variance analysis and commentary to forecast/budget/prior years

  • Prepare financial reports, presentations, charts, tables and other exhibits as needed

  • Build dashboards with financial and operational metrics to track actual performance vs fcst/budget/PY with aim to highlight savings opportunities and unusual trends

  • Provide analytics on spend efficiency (ie. Run-rates, committed-uncommited costs)

  • Partner with Finance Executives to provide regular updates with analysis of their actual spend and budget utilization,

  • Continuously improve reporting capabilities by working closely with business IT teams – develop automated self-service reporting tools for finance teams and budget holders to reduce manual workload and ad-hoc requests,

  • Ad-hoc reports preparation

Qualifications & Experience…

  • 5+ years of working experience preferably with experience in FP&A or Data Analytics department,

  • Excellent analytical skills – high attention to details and financials reconciliation,

  • Very strong MS Excel skills (incl. Power Pivot, basic VBA etc.)

  • Understanding of FP&A cycles & processes: month end close, forecasting and budgeting.

  • Visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlick View) knowledge & experience is a plus,

  • Strong oral and written English communication skills,

  • Assured self-starter on relevant projects and work is a plus,

  • Pro-active and hands-on,

  • Strong IT affinity to drive required digital agenda in FP&A (EPM ie. Hyperion, SAP BPC/SAC, , BI tools ie. Power BI)
