Spectrum Health and Human Services Driver - Program Aide in Warsaw, New York

Per-diem- 34 North Main Street, Warsaw, NY
SUMMARY OF POSITION FUNCTION:
Drives Agency vehicles to transport clients to and from PROS or other related locations as scheduled; provides staffing support for Structured Skill Development Activities as assigned.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supportive teaching and feedback in structured skill development activities in support of clients
Attends to vehicle maintenance and safety with supervisor
Attends to vehicle cleanliness
Frequent or occasional driving of personal vehicle for purpose of transporting clients in the community and/or site visits (client or work related)
Under direction, maintains Janitorial and Program Supply storage
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Understands rehabilitation/recovery environment and is able to oversee and provide supportive feedback to structured skill teaching and practice
EDUCATION:
High school or GED preferred
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in an environment that provided opportunity to demonstrate/teach or provide feedback to persons learning new skills preferred
Must possess a dependable vehicle with all NYS required insurance and registration. Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record and in good standing with NYS Department of Motor Vehicles
COMPENSATION: $15.18 - $19.36/hr
