$17.00 Per Hour Litchfield County, CT 3rdShift Monday - Thursday 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM Are you looking for an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, work environment where you will set up and operate a manual slitter/automatic slitter and associated packing lines, in Litchfield County CT?
What You Will DoasaSlitterOperator:
- Sets up and operates slitter according to establishedprocedures
- Ensure finishing equipment is working correctly, troubleshoot, perform safety inspects and complete requireddocumentation,performpreventative maintenance on assigned equipment, and initiate work orders forrepairs
- Perform equipment change-over andsplices
- Maintain inventories needed for productionrun
- Perform data entry onSAP
What You NeedasaSlitterOperator:
- Ability to read length measurements, gauges,andmeters
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately, work independently, and be a teamplayer
- Abilityto position and lift 50 - 100pounds
- Basic math skills, computer skills, and data entry.
- High School Diploma or GED required. Technical school background desirable
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drugscreen
