Responsibilities You will conduct tests on electronic or electrical equipment to identify methods of reducing occurrence of repairs. You will review technical and logistic related documentation to determine enhancements or recommended changes to a program. You will conduct site preparations for installation work of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems. You will present technical briefings covering system issue resolution and project updates. You will collaborate with engineers or experts in different fields to resolve electronic systems engineering issues. You will compose technical reports to communicate the progress, evaluation, analysis, conclusions or recommendations on assigned projects. You will complete complex survey work and/or studies in OCONUS AORs. You will, in certain cases, perform installation work where a Contractor resource is not available, to include installation of IT equipment in racks (switches, etc), install and terminate. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate qualifying experience demonstrating the following: 1) Working with virtual team members and building coalitions across a geographically dispersed multi-disciplined organization to plan, initiate, and monitor installation of IT/C4ISR systems at afloat and/or ashore sites, activities, and platforms while serving on or leading a systems engineering or acquisition Integrated Project Team (IPT). 2) Applying different installation disciplines including emerging technologies and their applications to the requirements of ongoing ashore work; 3) Providing on-site technical support to existing equipment, installation and conversion of new equipment, and logistical support to achieve the goal of on-time completion and redelivery of systems; and 4) Completing highly difficult and complex survey work.
