Job Accountabilities:

Key Performance Indicators

  • Achievement of commercial and satisfaction event targets in accordance to KPIs

  • Supporting marketing manager with regular communication & reporting of progress and results to the event managers during weekly team meetings and post event reports.

  • Effective execution of marketing campaigns using AEM and Eloqua

  • Demonstration of increased visitor registrations and visitor attendance.

  • Development/enhancement of event features and content to achieve & improve visitor/exhibitor satisfaction ratings.

Key Dimensions:

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

CAMPAIGN IMPLEMENTATION

  • Copy write marketing materials in conjunction with marketing manager

  • Take ownership of marketing plan and timeline to ensure campaign is executed in time and to budget

  • Effectively input into marketing plans and strategies

  • Work with designers to produce high quality materials that adhere to brand guidelines

  • Work with Adobe marketing tools to manage and execute automated email campaigns, website CMS and CRM system

  • Ensure that A/B testing is a regular activity within campaigns

  • Ensure Informa data protection rules and regulations

  • Manage registration staff onsite to ensure visitor data is captured effectively during the event

  • Manage media partnerships to ensure maximum promotion for events are achieved

  • Work with survey suppliers to ensure high quality audience feedback is collected

  • Work with photography and videography suppliers to ensure the event is captured creatively and effectively for ongoing promotion

  • Manage and adhere to agreed marketing budget

  • Raise purchase orders using SAP

  • Uphold the brand reputation of Informa as the premier exhibition & events provider at all times

Person Specification

Minimum Education Level:

  • Educated to degree level

Background Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Essential

  • Marketing experience

  • Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Commercial awareness

  • Ability to multitask

  • Attention to detail

  • Spoken and written Arabic and English

  • Numerate

Desirable

  • Degree in marketing or related diploma

  • Exposure to exhibitions, conferences and/or media industry
