We’re seeking a Production Designer to join our creative team. In this role you will use your technical expertise to efficiently generate two-dimensional product conceptuals for our high school market. In a high-volume, quick-turnaround environment, you must be able to take direction and effectively collaborate with teammates across disciplines to meet expectations and deadlines. The ideal candidate would enjoy completing a large quantity of work daily efficiently and accurately.
Daktronics offers the flexibility to work from a U.S. home or Daktronics location. This opportunity is open to U.S. based candidates.
Responsibilities
Develop conceptual proposal designs for Daktronics scoring and video equipment.
Work on order preparation layouts for customer approval.
Communicate effectively with sales and marketing employees.
Prioritize workload and manage time effectively.
Build and maintain working files inside a collaborative file structure.
Manage work tasks and collaborate within a project management tool.
Suggest and implement suggestions for process improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Animation, Advertising, or similar. Will consider May 2024 graduates.
Must provide a portfolio of work at time of interview.
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Knowledge of Adobe After Effects is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed to contribute within a team-oriented environment. Fluent in English, written and verbal.
Ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple projects.
Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
