Singapore American School Part Time Volleyball Coach in United States
Are you passionate about volleyball and committed to nurturing the next generation of athletes? Cocurricular Volleyball at Singapore American School is seeking dynamic and experienced part-time volleyball coaches to join our team. As a coach with Eagle Club Volleyball, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of athletes spanning various ages and skill levels.
Work Schedule and Contract
The expected work schedule is between 3-6 hours a week, from the date of commencement till end-May 2024.
This position will be paid at an hourly rate of $40/hour.
Responsibilities:
Player Development: Provide high-quality coaching to athletes of different ages and skill levels, fostering both individual and team growth.
Skill Instruction: Conduct engaging and progressive training sessions to enhance players' technical skills, tactical understanding, and overall game performance.
LTAD Integration: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) principles, tailoring coaching strategies to align with the developmental needs of players at different stages.

Communication: Establish effective communication with players, parents, and fellow coaches to ensure a positive and collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications:
Volleyball Expertise: Extensive knowledge of volleyball training techniques, and strategies that are developmentally appropriate.
Coaching Experience: Previous coaching experience at various levels, with a proven track record of player development.
Certifications: Possession of relevant coaching and CPR certifications is preferred.
Passion for LTAD: Understanding and commitment to Long-Term Athlete Development principles.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with other coaches, staff, and parents.
Positive Role Model: Exhibit a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to diverse and inclusive sporting practices.
