Description
Officiates all youth and adult FCPRD athletic games for various age groups.

Demonstrate superior knowledge of sport specific rules and regulations;
Represents FCPRD and follows department and school policies and procedures;
Responsible for maintaining control of teams and spectators during games; and
Serve as a role model for youth sports programs.
Typical Qualifications
Ability to interpret the rules of specific sports;
Superior oral communication skills;
Maintain a flexible schedule;
Ability to remain poised and calm in stressful situations;
High school diploma or equivalent;
Officiating training preferred; and,
Must be 16 years or older at the time of application.
Supplemental Information
This is athletic work requiring the exertion of up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects; work requires reaching, bending, standing, sitting, gripping, and repetitive motions of the sort; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; visual acuity is required for preparing and analyzing data, operation of equipment, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work, and observing general surroundings and activities; the worker may be subject to adverse environmental conditions.
