Science Systems and Applications Inc. (SSAI) is seeking for 2 Interns to support NASA in Alakanuk - Summer 2024 We are looking for two high school students for a paid summer research internship: Are you curious about how we measure the water quality of the Yukon River from space? Do you want to know more about how the Yukon River Delta and its resources are changing in response to climate change? You can be part of this NASA project ! Spend time outdoors collecting measurements. Learn how to filter and process water samples. Learn more about Earth observations from space! When? Summer 2024 Where? Alakanuk, AK
Required Qualifications:
High School level student who is eligible to work.
Prior internship experience in a science field
Excellent Oral and Written communications
Ability to work successfully independently and within a multi-disciplinary team
Experience with Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
US Citizenship required.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to touch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
