Title: Group Sr. HRIS Manager

Location: 450 E Las Olas Boulevard, Suite 1500, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301

Job Duties:

  • Serve as subject matter expert for Workday by working with all business stakeholders to maximize Workday functionality, capabilities, and operational processes.

  • Support and/or deliver training programs for HR system users.

  • Lead partnerships and projects with Human Resources, Finance, IT, and various business units that may have conflicting Workday requirements or require custom configurations.

  • Demonstrate leadership skills managing and prioritizing work and coaching and developing consultative, technical, and analytical skills.

  • Workday expert with deep knowledge of business objects, business process framework, design concepts, interdependencies with HCM, Compensation, Performance, Recruiting, Security, Benefits, Payroll, Reporting, Integrations and future product direction.

  • Demonstrate ability to effectively set priorities, allocate resources and manage several complex projects simultaneously while working in a fast-paced environment to deliver on time and within budget.

  • Manage the Workday Operations team by directly supervising internal resources and working with external teams including resource planning, capacity needs, prioritization of work and overall direction to achieve organization objectives.

  • Support timely identification and escalation of risks, providing strategic guidance and developing alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary.

  • Lead Workday Infrastructure Support and Governance Team as it pertains to Configuration responsibilities.

  • Manage the internal Workday Community Manager Support process.

  • Manage Workday Customer Support to ensure trouble tickets are documented, tested, and implemented.

  • Apply advanced technical knowledge and employee-centric thinking to ensure Workday is effectively deployed at an enterprise level, generating change and positive outcomes for the organization on a regular basis.

  • Help others recognize Workday capabilities and opportunities - Constantly leverage technical and Workday expertise to resolve problems, anticipate issues, identify opportunities including needed system configurations within the Workday tenant.

  • Continuously improve the Workday system, ensure the stability of the platform and maximize the company's investment in Workday.

  • Ensure that all Workday Modules and any enhancement are cross-functional within the Workday system - all potential issues are considered and mitigated before being placed into production.

  • Manage Defect Prioritization and scheduling.

  • Work with functional and technical team leads to define specific test requirements and approaches.

  • Manage the resolution of defect testing and release potential using proven methodologies.

  • Provide guidance on opportunities to automate activities.

  • Serve as or advise on Security Configuration in Workday.

  • Oversee standard Workday routines including testing and audits as necessary to ensure accuracy and confidence in the system.

  • Continually seek ways to improve the process of delivering Workday data.

  • Maintains confidentiality and employee data protection.

  • Develop support team members to accomplish business goals.

  • Continuously network and stay connected with the Workday ecosystem to remain on top of different approaches and best practices for supporting business needs in Workday.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or related field.

5 years of experience directly related with Workday.

Experience must include:

  • Workday Project Management and integration implementation.

  • Workday Functional Configuration expertise for modules - HCM, Comp, Performance, Benefits, and Recruiting.

  • Working with cross-functional departments within a large corporation.

  • Workday Studio.

  • BIRT Layout.

  • Power BI, data management, and data integration skills.

  • Managing HCM cloud solutions with Workday.

  • Human resources administration and basic principles of general human resources and payroll, reporting methods, and procedures.

  • HRIS end-user design, practices, methods, and programs.

  • Leading at least one HRIS implementation from design to launch.

  • ERP’s (Enterprise Resource Planning systems) and HRIS integrations.

May telecommute and report as needed to headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
