Constituent Relations Representative

Alliance Defending Freedom is looking for a highly customer service orientation Constituent Relations Representative to join us in our Scottsdale, AZ Office or our Lansdowne, VA Office. As the Constituent Relations Representative (CRR), you are a vital part of the Development Team. In this role, you will report to the Constituent Relations Manager. You will provide high-level customer service and stewardship to our Ministry Friends, and you will help provide operational support for the direct response program. You will be responsible for responding to donor inquiries in writing, on the phone, and by email, as well as processing donations and assisting with cultivating and retaining monthly donors.

Your Essential Responsibilities:

In this position, you will:

  • Provide a high level of donor stewardship and cultivation by responding to donor inquiries and processing donations ensuring the data is accurately recorded.

  • Answer incoming calls, handle emails from the general inbox, and respond to mailed letters.

  • Make telephone calls to thank Ministry Friends, troubleshoot failed transactions, and update credit card information.

  • Correctly and efficiently route time-sensitive and priority calls to the appropriate Team Member.

  • Communicate in a clear and concise manner the work and mission of ADF and its current cases.

  • Maintain accurate data in our fundraising Customer Relationship Management system.

  • Conduct event follow-up and process product orders in a timely fashion.

  • Appropriately and professionally handle negative contacts.

Other Responsibilities (Non-Essential):

  • You will be asked to perform related duties or special projects as assigned.

Ability to:

  • Communicate verbally in relatable ways and connect seamlessly with multi-generational and interdenominational Christians.

  • Assess the urgency and verbal cues of the caller by intentional listening.

  • Provide exceptional quality of customer care/service.

  • Clearly articulate your thoughts and ideas in writing, using proper grammar, sentence structure, and spelling.

Demonstrated proficiency in:

  • Conveying passion for ADF's mission and purpose while responding to inbound calls.

  • Strong multi-tasking skills, shifting attention effectively and efficiently from one task to another.

  • Strong technological abilities, looking at multiple monitors for information, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SalesForce.

  • Strong communicator: good listening skills, self-awareness in conversations, and ability to see the big picture.

  • Strong sense of discernment and appropriate handling of a wide variety of calls.

  • Professionalism and warmth in voice and phone presentation.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy when entering information into the CRM.
