Job Title: Concrete Superintendent
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete construction and be able to supervise and manage all aspects of concrete construction projects, including scheduling, quality control, safety, and budgeting. The Concrete Superintendent will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate should have excellent leadership and communication skills, be detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of concrete construction projects, including scheduling, quality control, safety, and budgeting
Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules, budgets, and plans
Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements
Manage the day-to-day activities of subcontractors, suppliers, and other project team members
Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and safety standards are being met
Coordinate with other trades to ensure that work is sequenced properly and completed on schedule
Provide guidance and support to project team members and subcontractors to ensure project success
Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to project managers and other stakeholders
Maintain accurate project records and prepare reports as required
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, with technical training in concrete construction
5+ years of experience as a Concrete Superintendent on commercial construction projects
Thorough knowledge of concrete construction techniques, materials, and industry standards
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to project sites as required
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
