FEV North America Inc. is adding to their business development team! We would like to strengthen our team by hiring a Business Development professional. Responsibilities:

• Support FEV Business Development in the growing space of intelligent mobility and software

• Support a wide range of industries ranging from automotive, commercial, rail, construction, off-highway, marine, aerospace, etc.

• Sales responsibilities for technology solutions including software development, functional safety, cybersecurity, and vehicle development in support of applications spanning ADAS/AD, software defined vehicles, connectivity, etc.

• Develop and execute sales plans

• Manage customer accounts, drive technology adoption, secure future business, and increase profitability

• Develop strong customer partnerships across all levels of the organization

• Maintain frequent and regular contact with customer decision makers (purchasing and engineering)

• Understand customer road maps and align with company goals and objectives

• Cold / warm introductions through project acquisition and voice of the customer

• Support identification and development of new business opportunities and partnerships

• Have ability to hold oneself accountable for results while meeting/exceeding key performance metrics

• Support the engineering team to identify and meet customer requirements

• Support trade shows, congresses and exhibitions from a business development and staffing perspective

Qualifications:

• A technical or business related degree

• At least 4 years of relevant business development and sales experience in the described markets required

• Sales experienced in technical services preferred

• Effective communication, analytical, judgement, initiative, and execution skills

• Self-starter, ability to learn new concepts and technologies

• Ability to set clear objectives and multi-task; goal oriented

• Experience dealing with OEMs, Tiers, and start-up customers is a plus

• Experience with the engineering development V-model and software development process is a plus

• Ability to develop and support detailed technical presentations to customers

• Ability to support detailed and clear solutions, scope of work preparation, quotations, and proposals to customers

• Exceptional written / oral English skills

• Ability to function in a matrixed team organization with minimal supervision
