Project description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer specializing in Data Engineering to join our technology-driven team. The ideal candidate will have significant hands-on expertise in Data Factory, Databricks, and a strong background in designing, building, managing, and deploying enterprise-level data architectures including data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures.
Responsibilities
Design and implement robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks to support scalable data extraction, transformation, and loading processes (ETL).
Architect and manage the deployment of data solutions, ensuring integration with enterprise-wide IT infrastructure and data systems.
Develop and optimize data models to improve data accessibility, efficiency, and quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define data governance standards, and ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
Provide leadership and guidance on best practices in data architecture, including data warehousing, data lakes, and lakehouse methodologies.
Monitor data pipelines and systems performance, proactively addressing any issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data technology to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
