Currently we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Bratislava, Slovakia. In this role you will be responsible primarily for new business development opportunities and alternatively also for cross selling activities. You will act as a key relationship manager on the won client and report directly to Aon SK CEO.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Bratislava office.

What the day will look like

  • Arranging the smooth introduction of the client to the service team after the win or even before if needed.

  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with the clients and driving revenue growth.

  • Submitting innovative solutions towards increasing the volume of new business with affect to the sales department revenues.

  • Ensuring that all activities and operations are carried out in compliance with Aon Corporation, compliance policies as well as the local regulations and laws governing business operations.

  • Managing the development and sales process for new products and markets, including explanation/promotion of new products and driving revenue growth.

  • Preparing a budget based on (un-)defined prospects and formulating a strategic business development approach with clear objectives, actions and sales targets.

  • Contribute to the country's sales strategy for new markets, developing and executing sales and marketing campaigns.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • University degree

  • Fluent English and Slovakian languages

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Independent, entrepreneurial and a business developer type, having a strong selling and presentation skills and ability to deal with C-level clients

  • Experience of working within compliant environment of international company

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, building strategic partnerships

  • Excellent in planning and organizing and effective in realizing plans

  • Flexible approach and willingness to travel if required

  • Understanding the dynamics of Slovak business and legal environment
