Role Context

The HRBP develops and executes both long-term and short-term organizational strategies that align structure, culture and talent with business goals, while providing individual support and coaching for the Operating Area Poland.

He/she is responsible for providing expertise and guidance in areas including HR & business strategy alignment, organization design, workforce planning, workforce optimization, employee engagement, talent, culture and change management. The Role aligns the local engagement strategy to business strategy driving culture as a competitive advantage, working with leaders and employees to create a positive and inclusive work environment.

Among the many topics over and above the already mentioned are:

  • Develop People Strategy for the business aligned with global and regional strategy

  • Partner with business leadership team on talent, organizational design, strategic workforce planning,workforce optimization and culture.

  • Partner / Broker with HR COEs to ensure implementation of appropriate/ aligned strategies, programs & processes.

Partnering with the COEs (Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Change Management, Total Reward):

  • Develop and drive strategies to attract, develop, engage, reward, and retain strong and diverse talent

  • personal ownership for key HR metrics (recruitment, development, retention, etc.) for their client group, making deep dive to root cause and develop and execute appropriate countermeasures where needed

  • Lead talent assessment in the organization, identifying key employee strengths and development needs to select, retain and develop key talent

  • Lead succession planning and talent development strategies for the organization, identifying critical roles and preparing potential talent and pipelines

  • Drive and sustain the key processes around engagement, from analysis, communication, feedback, and action planning

  • Lead client groups through critical HR operating rhythms such as merit & bonus planning, performance management and Talent Review

  • Is the escalation point for complex case management and provide expert advice to managers on employee issues including disciplinary and grievance.

  • Works with leaders and managers to professionally execute corporate policies and HR programs ensuring appropriate and agreed levels of quality, delivery and cost

  • Partner & manage local labor & employee relations ensuring legal compliance.

Professional Experience / Qualifications

  • Co- create, implement, and execute programs to support the business & people strategy

  • You have a degree or master degree and experience in working with works councils and knowledge of collective bargaining law.

  • You enjoy shaping change processes and feel comfortable in a matrix organization.

  • You can keep several balls in the air at the same time and don't let yourself get rattled.

  • You enjoy working with people and impress with your high level of social skills, team orientation and confident demeanor.

  • You are well-versed in MS Office 365 and have already worked with Workday.

  • Since we work in an international environment, fluent written and spoken English plus either French or German are a prerequisite.

  • You have a Strong Change Management Expertise and a strong understanding for business and financial topics.
