As a part of the Developer Infrastructure Team within 1ES, we are seeking a Senior Product Manager to own Microsoft developer’s build experience on the developer desktop as well in Pull Requests.

Responsibilities

• Deeply understand Microsoft’s developers and the key drivers of satisfaction and productivity during the Build process

• Evolve and execute the strategic roadmap for Build Infrastructure and Build Tooling.

• Define product requirements and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development.

• You will influence the roadmap of GitHub and Microsoft DevBox to improve the build experience for developers.

Qualifications

Required Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Senior level experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.

• Demonstrated experience with tools for software developers

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience with build engines, CI/CD Infrastructure

• Deep knowledge and experience on Engineering systems platforms like Azure DevOps and GitHub.

• Hands-on experience with analyzing structured data supporting/disproving assumptions and predictions.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Hands-on prior/current experience with writing code, buildingand testing code

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
