JOB SUMMARY:

The Logistics Planner, Scheduler is responsible for managing and maintaining the internal and external planning activities to support Adare’s internal packaging resources and outside manufacturing services. This role will also drive improvements to our customer service and support other supply chain activities as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overall management of the Adare’s internal, third party packager, and outside manufacturing services

  • Manage and plan supply to meet customer demand

  • Manage and communicate outside constraints and effectively drive resolution with vendor issues

  • Schedule materials to meet customer request dates

  • Drive resolution to mitigate supply risk when for products behind schedule

  • Plan and manage the schedule to appropriately match supply to demand while mitigating risk

  • Maintain ERP system integrity to optimize system processes and supply planning

  • Maintain ERP system parameters, material master data, item setup, BOMs, and item routes

  • Support the analysis of plant capacity and schedule execution

  • Address supply/demand exceptions and related issues in a timely manner

  • Make decisions consistent with the business strategy to drive overall business results

  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement

  • Identify best practices through benchmarking to ensure we are consistent in our processes and how we apply them across our locations and business units

  • Continuously evaluate planning and scheduling processes for improvement opportunities

  • Investigate and resolve material flow issues to maintain efficient production

  • Analyze data and develop manufacturing scenarios

  • Plan required production to meet Adherence to Schedule targets and ensure desired customer service levels

  • Support the supply chain needs of cross-function project teams

  • Works effectively under deadlines.

  • Acts as the company’s representative by showing respect and being ambassador for the established beliefs and behaviors of the Company.

  • Participates in the development and implementation of methods, procedures and regulations necessary for the smooth operation of the business.

  • Respects policies, procedures and regulations in force in the company.

  • Completes assigned tasks in a safe manner and in a constant state of alertness.

  • Upholds Company policies, including the Professional Conduct Policy and Prohibition Against Harassment Policy, and the Business Ethics and Conduct Code

  • Works in a cooperative manner with managers, supervisors, coworkers, customers and the public.

  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree from a four-year accredited university or college

  • 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain: Master Planning, Production Planning, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Capacity Management & Planning

  • Highly analytical, with strong mathematical and statistical knowledge

  • Problem solving and decision making

  • Customer focus (internal and external)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including advanced skills in Excel (Pivot tables, V-lookup, Macros, If Statements, Formulas)
