Description
AAPSA is seeking to hire a part-time Maintenance Assistant to join our growing team!
Duties will be performed across several properties in Utica and Syracuse, but primary duties will be in Utica. The person in this position will be working under our property manager and will be aiding him in any and all responsibilities related to ensuring the properties are well-maintained (both exterior and interior). This position requires a high level of self-direction, efficiency, and reliability.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Cosmetic building repairs and upgrades
Maintenance and repair of office equipment
Maintain exterior and interior lighting
Assessing need for major repairs
Minor plumbing repairs
Assembly of office furniture
Maintenance of HVAC systems
Basic landscaping and snow removal

Requirements
Experience in general repairs and maintenance
Basic electrical understanding
Basic plumbing understanding
Basic HVAC understanding
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Valid NYS Driver’s license
Salary Description
$26/hour
