Blue Chip Talent GENERAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN in Utica, Michigan
POSITION SUMMARY:
The position is responsible for oversight of SE Michigan facilities. This includes plumbing, electrical, lighting, furniture, and general maintenance items.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
Schedules and maintains necessary building inspections to keep buildings compliant with city codes.
Perform diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
Perform industrial electrical troubleshooting/repair/installation.
Perform PLC programming/troubleshooting.

- Schedules and maintains necessary building inspections to keep buildings compliant with city codes.

- Develop and perform preventative maintenance procedures and maintain appropriate history logs for all equipment.
- Understand, implement, and use lock-out tag-out (LOTO) procedures for all relative equipment.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Preferred 5yrs. experience and relative educational training for maintaining a manufacturing facility and machine maintenance consistent with the responsibilities listed above.
Computer Skills: Advanced
Certificates and Licenses: Minimum OSHA 10 Certification. Licensed to operate a Forklift and a Manlift (vertical and articulating).
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
