Advantive Manager, Outside Sales in US, United States
As a trusted advisor to Advantive’s clients, the Manager of Outside Sales will manage a team of Outside sellers to achieve quarterly sales objectives by coaching and directing your team to grow opportunities within your territory/region. You will report to the Regional Vice President (RVP) of Outside Sales and work under general supervision, seeking intervention from the RVP on complex deals.
Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Advantive sales process. Sells and promotes the sales of Advantive products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds working relationships with license, consulting, and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts bookings monthly. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.
Responsibilities
Responsible for leading sales team responsible for selling Advantive solutions to our target markets
Close sales and ensures teams achieve quarterly quotas
Research clients, identify key decision makers and generate interest for expansion opportunities e.g. new modules, new customer sites/divisions/subsidiaries
Build relationships and maintain communication and ongoing contact with clients in territory
Leverage internal relationships with and work closely with Advantive's Customer Success Managers
Building and maintaining a territory business plan
Coaches team in generating new sales opportunities and pipeline
Tracking sales opportunities and provide reports of current sales funnel, including win and loss, using CRM (Salesforce.com)
