Leadership and Management Instructors

SUMMARY: The Independent Consultant will be responsible for delivery of training and facilitation services in the Leadership and Management Division. Consultants will use subject matter expertise, principles of adult learning theory and workplace experience to meet the objectives of each engagement.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: Serve as a subject matter expert when delivering training sessions. Conduct training sessions 1-5 days in length for up to 25 participants. Provide feedback to MC after each engagement. Facilitate learning and group process according to the facilitators guide and adhere to course objectives and schedules

SPECIFIC TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:

We are currently seeking independent consultants with domain expertise in the following facets of leadership and management: Driving and Implementing Strategy (topics include: leading the human side of change, managing change, strategic planning, and strategic performance measurement) Thinking for Results (topics include strategic thinking, advanced organization and group problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, and innovation) Guiding and Developing Others (topics to include team building, management skills, and advanced management skills)

Challenges participants thinking to help them grow and develop new skills

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Possesses relevant knowledge and skills for specific domain area of expertise

Understands adult learning theories and approaches

Understands the language of leadership and management

Uses technical knowledge or skills on the job

Practices and use of self-assessments Communication

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Masters degree preferred Certification in Coaching, Facilitation, Organizational Development, Training or other area of relevant professional expertise. A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in a leadership role in an organization At least 3 years of experience as a training facilitator; formal trainer certificate desired
