Thames Valley Council for Community Action Regional Engagement Coordinator in Uncasville, Connecticut
JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing Re-engagement services for the Jobs First Employment Services program and support services processing/administrative support for the Manufacturing Pipeline program at the American Job Centers customers. This individual must possess high energy and motivation. He/She should be a self-starter who can work independently, be well organized, able to multitask and prioritize projects. Duties include but are not limited workshops presentation, re-engaging customers with case management staff, appointment scheduling, information and referrals, coordination of support services, and overall assistance to customers utilizing the American Job Centers.
Required Skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree and one year related work experience or a H.S Diploma plus three years of related work experience.
Knowledge of One Stop services, partners and programs.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, verbal and written. Strong Word Processing, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet applications skills required.
Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and access to daily, reliable and insured transportation. Spanish speaking preferred.
