Currently, in Grundfos Italy we are aiming to further strengthen our sales force. To achieve this, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Project & Solutions Sales Engineer to handle and develop our Industry End Users business in Italy.

Ideally resident in Milano or province, the selected candidate will have in charge Lombardy’s Business and will take care of developing complex Projects within Industry End-Users supporting peer Sales Engineers in the team all over Italian Territory.

What is the job about?

• Proactively conduct site surveys in Industrial Manufacturing Plants, creating and developing relationships with End Users as trusted advisor and provider of Grundfos applications portfolio.

• AsProject & Solutions Sales Engineer for Industry End User Business, you will support the Italian Industry Sales Team in promoting Solutions, and to develop Turn-Key Projects, helping our customers to achieve significant Energy Savings and Water Use Efficiency.

• You will initiate and develop relationships with our sub-contractors and partner network, collaborate with our Energy Optimisation Specialist and our Service Dept.

• Your task will be to achieve Sales targets and develop proactively a Project Opportunity pipeline, taking care of the whole process from the proposal to the End User to the final commissioning. Implementation of sales procedures and systems to ensure compliance with corporate policies and provide working guidelines for the Sales Team.

• You will take care of our End Users and selected channel partners in Lombardy, developing collaboration with the most relevant stakeholders in order to make Grundfos the most preferred choice in the targeted market.

What do you need to apply?

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.

• Minimum 10 years of experience developing solutions and projects for industry End Users

• Experience working in Contractors/EPCs/Consultant companies, with experience in Industrial installations.

• Experience managing subcontractors and producing technical specs for complete turn-key solutions including mechanical, piping, power and control cabinets, wiring, commissioning/ decommissioning, lifting means, legal and H&S…etc. Able to operate with tight time schedules.

• Technical background in hydraulic design. CAD and engineering tools

• Familiar with industrial pumping applications and water treatment

• Knowledge of Pump market

• Italian and good English level, able to work in an international environment.

It is important to us that you possess high ethical standards, just as you thrive on a healthy control environment as a prerequisite for producing timely, correct and transparent information. You speak and write English fluently. If you have experience with SAP, BW and IBM Cognos suites, it is an advantage.
