Looking for an experienced Welder for the day shift. Rate of pay will depend on experience and skill.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate hand welding equipment to weld or join metal components or fill holes indentation and or seams of fabricated metal products
Ability to read work orders, instructions, formulas, or processing charts to ensure precise and accurate welding in agreement with the customers design
Ability to weld stainless and aluminum when required
Identify non-conformance doing inspection of component parts and properly document such non-conformance
Maintain welding equipment in good working order, to keep the equipment free of debris and perform proper maintenance
Record an accurate log of job times and specifications for audit reports
Maintain clean equipment/tools and work area
Notify supervisor when work received does not meet the specifications required
Follow all relative NADCAP procedures
Follow all established safety procedures
Ability to set welding machine to tech plan settings for different parameters in AC and DC ranges
Education and experience
Experience with TIG welding process is desired
A degree in technical area or 1 year welding certification program with 1 year of TIG welding experience is desired
Experience welding thin gauge metals is desired
Ability to read and interpret from manufacturing and or customer provided blueprints to meet welding specifications.
Ability to accurately read weld sketches and pass all weld test as required
Accurate and reliable measuring skills
Ability to weld within tight tolerance
Ability to communicate properly with team members and staff at all levels in order to manufacture a high quality part.
Excellent attendance.
