Moneris Project Manager (Contract) in Toronto, Canada
Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity
You will represent and coordinate project business readiness tasks in an Agile framework for the Operational teams under Field Services, Customer Experience, Transformation & Shared Services, and Strategic Programs & Fulfillment. You will be assigned to initiatives of medium to high complexity and will identify the impacts and changes required across all Operational teams to support proposed initiative. You will develop the plans/approach regarding how the changes will be implemented within Operations. You will demonstrate a strong working understanding of Agile project execution for assigned initiatives.
Contract Term: 12 months.
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a hybrid model.
Reporting Relationship : You will report to Manager, Project Management.
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
End-to-end accountability for successful project delivery in Operations, including technology and business readiness deliverables and change management activities.
Operations Project Governance: Collect information for operations review and ensure full visibility and feasibility across the business teams.
Communicate project vision and objectives, with stakeholders to achieve these objectives.
Lead project teams in achieving project success; facilitate problem solving efforts to reduce defects, improve customer satisfaction, manage end user impact, reduce cost and increase project efficiency.
Support feasibility studies, analysis and documentation of data and processes and provide estimates of work effort and duration on assigned projects
On assigned Agile initiatives:
Review Epics, Stories, Tasks, Agile Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog
Participate in required Sprint Ceremonies.
Monitoring & review of Sprint backlog to assess upcoming planned deliverables.
Create tasks and tracking their completion with Operational resources.
Contribute to the success of the Operational Projects, for example, by leading continuous improvement initiatives and providing leadership and guidance to Associate Project Managers on the team
Your Moneris Career - What you bring
3-5 years of experience in a project management capacity in Waterfall, Hybrid and Agile
Experience in Process Improvement and business consulting is a great asset
Strong analytical skills with an ability to fit issues in with corporate goals and priorities
Able to drive consensus among multiple stakeholders and be able to influence
An appreciation of end-user requirements, specifically the ability to see the big picture and understand the need of all partners
Project Management Institute, PMP Certification or equivalent is considered an asset
Change Management Certification is considered an asset
Agile certification is considered an asset
