This position will be responsible for the development and governance of the corporate brand strategy, including delivering corporate messaging and positioning to the market. Through targeted brand advertising, content marketing and thought leadership initiatives, position the brand in the minds of key stakeholders (e.g. prospects, customers, recruits, employees, influencers, investors) with programs that generate awareness, shape perception and ultimately create preference. Work with all stakeholders across Marketing and other areas of the business to ensure the corporate brand is central and consistent in everything we do to create brand strength and affinity increasing Commvault's market advantage. The Brand Director will Translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies.Position Responsibilities Include:Work with stakeholders to analyze how our brand is positioned in the market and crystalize targeted audience insightsCreate internal and external campaigns to communicate vision, mission, goals and strategies to match up to demand gen goalsEstablish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimatesMonitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors' activities to identify opportunities and key issuesBrainstorm new and innovative growth strategiesAlign the company around the brand's direction, choices and tacticsPosition Requirements Include:Proven working experience as brand manager or associate brand managerDrive for results and leaderships skillsExcellent understanding of the full marketing mixHighly creative with ability to think out of boxExperience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivateProven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive managementStrong analytical skills and data-driven thinkingAdvanced communication and interpersonal skillsUp-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practicesComfortable working with numbers, metrics and spreadsheetsExcellent command of the English languageBS/MS degree in marketing or a related fieldAdditional InformationRecognized as a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Center Backup and Recovery Software, our industry's definitive independent ranking.
