Description Robert Half is looking for a Network Administrator to join a rapidly growing Hi Tech Engineering organization! To succeed in this position, you should be an organized problem solver who has a can-do attitude and enjoys ensuring and sustaining a stable network infrastructure. You will develop, administer, and maintain the network infrastructure to support the business by ensuring security, integrity and high-availability of enterprise systems and related components. You will work with software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems that change frequently. Your dedication to ongoing education is critical to staying current and fully informed. This Network Administrator is a long-term contract / temporary to hire role in the The Woodlands, Texas, area.

What you get to do every day

• Investigating and solving problems related to local area networks / wide area network performance, connectivity and related issues

• Administering LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam control measures

• Coordinating and implementing network software and hardware upgrades

• Administering the operation of all local area networks / wide area network related services according to company policies and procedures Requirements - 5+ years of related experience

• Previous experience in production environments and being on-call

• Knowledgeable of network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations

• Meraki experience desired

• Cisco Technologies experience preferred

• Proficiency in CrowdStrike
