Job title: Production Order group Supervisor – Process cell

  • Knowledge of vapor phase drying & its troubleshooting.

  • Knowledge of oil filtration plant, vacuum pumping system, Oil handling system operation.

  • Overseeing of Thermic fluid heating system & Effluent treatment plant.

  • Coordination with customers, vendor, OEM for improvement of equipment/ Machineries.

  • Periodic calibration of equipment & coordination with agency.

  • Legal requirements & maintain documents.

  • Continuous improvement projects related to operation & EHS.

  • To Ensure Zero Harm culture at workplace.

  • Focus on sustainability for reduction of Co-2 emission, elimination of all Process waste through various initiatives.

  • Process Digitalization initiatives.

  • Department coordination to achieve master production plan and FAT plan.

  • Planning, prioritizing, and managing related resources and measures.

  • MIS Reporting- Productivity, VAM, 5S, continuous improvements, etc based on management requirements.

  • Monitoring daily production reports and ensuring timely man and machine hrs. booking in DPR system.

  • Compilation of reports and updating SFM board.

  • Production order confirmation and material monitoring in SAP.

  • Micro-level production planning at the department level and close monitoring.

  • Conducting daily sunrise meetings and highlighting concerns to the production head.

  • Hands-on experience & sensitization to the challenges of growth & change management at all levels of plant operations.

  • Effective communication with shop engineers/workmen, actively participating in design review, Contract review meetings, and implementing cost-out measures.

  • Implementation of EHS and Cleanliness drive measures to improve shop floor environment,

  • Shop improvements in coordination with plant engineering/maintenance dept.

  • Responsible for preparation of Capex and Opex budget and its utilization.

  • Development and implementation of measures for digitalization.

  • Developments of new tools, Jigs, and fixtures based on technical requirements.

  • Process improvements with reference to global standards and the latest technology.

  • An effective communicator with strong relationship management skills with the capability to relate to people at any level of business and management.

  • Responsible for coordination with global experts and implementation of TMR.

  • Ensure Training of each team member as per plan and certifications in line with ISO / EHS requirements.

  • Competency development of workmen and contract employees based on business requirements.

  • Responsible for QMS & EHS implementation and updating the documentation.

  • Responsible for the implementation of CAPA measures.

  • Responsible for Audit preparation as per ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

  • NCR Management system analysis and its timely compliance.

  • Participation in Quality Corner, Quality gate, and project closure meetings for each project.

  • Responsible for calibration of equipment / lifting tools.

  • Close coordination with other functions for in-process customer inspection.

  • Responsible for Productivity Improvement with reference to KPI.

  • Ensure and implement product safety requirement.

  • Leveraging skills in driving forward plan improvement projects, productivity & quality improvement, cost controlling, scrap amount reduction, lean manufacturing, and enhancement.

  • Ensuring adherence to defined manufacturing guidelines, processes & procedures.

The Candidate

  • You should be a Graduate in Electrical / Mechanical engineering.

  • You should have Strong leadership and manpower handling skill, customer intimacy, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple disciplines simultaneously.

  • Candidate should have the capability of handling a team of 60-70 individuals.

  • Candidate must be aware of soft skills like Microsoft office-Excel, MS-Word, Power point and data analysis and SAP.

  • This role is based at Mumbai, but you’ll also get to visit other locations globally, so you’ll need to go where this journey takes you.

Qualification – BE (Electrical / Mechanical) having min 10-15 years’ experience in Transformer Manufacturing.
