Sportsman Boats Mfg. Upholstery Shop Material Cutter in Summerville, South Carolina
Sportsman Boats is growing and expanding our Upholstery Shop. If you have experience cutting foam and/or materials, this is your opportunity. We recently opened a new air-conditioned shop and need dependable, committed employees to join our family environment. We offer great benefits and bonus opportunities!
We offer competitive compensation, Quarterly bonuses based on production, a full array of benefits and an opportunity to work among the best in the industry, Hours are Monday through Friday 6:00am - 2:45pm, with additional hours as needed.
What you will do:
Stuff and fit cushions following patterns
Staple and secure fabric to framework
Inspect cushions for defects, damage, or stains
Compare physical characteristics of materials or products to specifications or standards.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Execute additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Skills and experience you need to have:
Ability to stand and work with your hands for 5+ hours/day
Ability to lift cushions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail oriented, proactive and able to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision
Advanced verbal communication skills
Advanced time management and organizational skills
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Experience with manual assembly, or upholstery.
