INTERNSHIP ROLE

We are looking for a Marketplace Merchandising Intern to join Dickies within VF EMEA Internship Program.

KEY INTERNSHIP INFO

• Start date: October 1st 2024.

• For the first 6 months your salary will be 1600chf/month, while for the following 6 months it is 1900chf/month.

• We cannot grant that internship will lead you to the permanent position, but thanks to the effective training 70% of interns are staying in the company after the internship period!

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• You will learn to use feedback from the accounts, data & market trends to inform decision making, feeding back to the Merchandising team to identify incremental gaps and opportunities.

• Learn about the ‘Go To Market Process’ and support on all stages including the seasonal merchandising brief, building bottom-up merchandising plans and presenting the seasonal range to key accounts for their feedback.

• Learn about the ‘Buying’ and ‘Range Building’ process, supporting the Marketplace Manager on Partner Program buys.

• Learn the process for managing off-calendar projects e.g. Special Make Up. Help to co-ordinate the projects cross-functionally efficiently and manage the setup of new products.

• Build and develop strong relationships with the relevant teams of digital accounts/marketplaces to ensure best execution and best results.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

• You will have a student status while beginning an internship or you have already graduated before in 2024 – it’s a must.

• You are fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• You have curious mindset with passion for working with people.

• You are eager to learn and face up new challenges.

• First experience such as other internships, extracurricular activities, is considered as a plus.
