AEM, Inc. Digital Marketing Manager in Springfield, Virginia

SUMMARY The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for all aspects of our digital marketing campaigns, including social media.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM and display advertising campaigns.
  • Design, build, and maintain our social media presence with the assistance of the social media specialist.
  • Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Determine conversion points and optimize user funnels.
  • Manage the CRM database and train staff on the proper usage of CRM.
  • Manage website updates (plug-ins, landing page creation, blog posting, etc.).
  • Collect, monitor, and analyze data using KPIs (Click-through rate, conversion rate, cost-per-lead, and cost-per-booked-move).
  • Suggest ways to increase customer acquisition, demand generation, and revenue.
  • Implement/manage marketing automation software and other tech stacks.
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

  • Proven proficiency in customer relationship management (HubSpot preferred), database management, and Microsoft Office (Email, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word). Intermediate or higher-level skills required.
  • Proven strong project management, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Analytical minded to determine ROI and demand generation trends.
  • Results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages details, and ensures projects are completed on time.
  • Must be self-motivated and have proven success as an individual contributor and a track record of strong teamwork and collaboration.

SKILLS, ABILITIES, CHARACTERISTICS, TRAITS.

  • Ability to work cohesively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Highly creative with experience identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (G4, Hotjar, Mouseflow, PowerBI)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors or other four-year degree; preferred degree in marketing or related field.
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend documents written in English to an above-average competency. Ability to support report generation and general correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to internal or external clients.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure at an Intermediate to Adv nced level. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.

REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
