Responsibilities and Qualifications
The MRI Technologist will work independently, or under the direction of a Radiologist, performs MRI procedures and patient care requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative for obtaining a diagnosis. Has responsibility for routine MRI imaging and other procedures requiring sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology; with independent selection and modification of technical factors to produce optimum MRI scans, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort a top priority. Performs related duties as assigned
Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:
Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA approved school and meets the requirements for registry by ARRT.
Registered with the ARRT in Radiography and MR.
1 year of experience
Must have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probation period.
Technical skill in medical scanning, understanding of cross sectional anatomy, and 3-D knowledge.
