Our Fox Trail Memory Care is seeking a Community Manager to manage our lovely community in South River, NJ.

The Community Manager works hand in hand with the Regional Director of Operations, Sales Directors and Risk Management Director to make sure we provide the best care, services and quality of life to those we are privileged to serve.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all operations, acting as contact for all staff, residents, prospects, community organizations, government agencies, and the public.

• Supervises, directs, and motivates community staff.

• Maintains a high degree of resident satisfaction and retention through consistent delivery of high quality services. Provides leadership for staff and residents to include proactively solving problems and resolving issues.

• Provides direct resident care as needed. Fills in at various positions as needed to cover staffing shortages.

• Ensures buildings, grounds, and property are up to company standards through the oversight of preventative maintenance systems and programs and frequent inspections that meet company standards of excellence.

• Fosters creativity among staff to deliver the highest quality and best services to residents in the most economical manner possible.

• Develops and maintains a positive image within the community. Becomes active in social and civic affairs of the local community. Represents the facility and the company to governmental agencies, professional organizations, community groups and other appropriate public agencies/groups.

• Oversees the resident admission process to assure required documentation is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with established policies and procedures.

• Leads the recruiting, selection and training of new team members

• Provides proactive and clear outreach and communication with families regarding their loved ones

• Assisting the community in maintaining high quality standards throughout the community

• Encourages and motivates residents to attend and participate in programming and activities

• Weekly review of food supplies in the home and place grocery order

• Maintain Fox Trail standards for excellence in property condition regarding maintenance, cleaning and resident safety

• Communicates any changes in the resident's condition or behavior pattern to Regional Director, family and physician as required

• Adheres to and enforces all New Jersey Dept. of Health guidelines for Dementia Care Homes (N.J.A.C. 8:37)

  Qualifications:

• Minimum one (1) year experience preferred in senior living (assisted living, dementia/memory care, home health, long term care)

• Minimum one (1) year experience in a leadership role

• Prior experience with senior population, specifically dementia/Alzheimer's Disease

• Previous supervisory/management experience focusing on supervising and responsibility of daily operations

• Clear written and verbal skills

• Good time management skills and ability to multi-task

• Good computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new software
