Craft-Bilt Manufacturing Co. is seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Seamstress to join our dynamic team. As an Industrial Seamstress, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the quality and timely completion of our textile products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial sewing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate industrial sewing machines to stitch, join, or reinforce fabric materials.

  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications to understand the design and requirements of each product.

  • Select appropriate materials and threads based on the specifications provided.

  • Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the company's standards.

  • Make adjustments to machine settings to achieve the desired stitching pattern and tension.

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and production timelines are met.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot sewing machines as needed, reporting any malfunctions to the maintenance department.

  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.

    Qualifications:

  • Experience as an Industrial Seamstress or similar role in a manufacturing setting preferred.

  • Ability to operate and maintain industrial sewing machines.

  • Strong knowledge of different fabrics, threads, and sewing techniques.

  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications.

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in stitching and measuring.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials if necessary. .
