We are seeking a talented Finance Solution Coordinator who will focus on Record-to-Report solutions at Kalmar IM. Solution coordinator facilitates communication between the process and solution development teams and works closely with Solution Owners and Solution Architects in the Kalmar Information Management function. The role involves understanding the process development requirements and ensuring that the solution's technical capabilities align with these requirements. The primary solution within the scope of this role is SAP.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Solution Owners, Solution Architects, and Process Managers to help design solutions that meet process and service requirements.

  • Manage, coordinate, and document the process area's solution requirements and change requests.

  • Facilitate ongoing communication towards key users to address requirements and technical needs.

  • Participate in solution development projects, including design and deployment roles.

  • Provide solution advice and guidance to key users and end users.

  • Conduct solution training and knowledge-sharing sessions as needed.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance services and own solution areas.

  • Undertake other tasks assigned by the line manager related to areas of accountability.

  • Ensure all work complies with global company guidelines, code of conduct, policies, procedures, controls, and legal requirements.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Finance or other relevant area

  • 3+ years of experience working with IT solution maintenance and development as well as solution functional design for example in a service centre setting

  • Experience of working with SAP; Experience of LN is an advantage

  • Experience of working with finance processes

  • Good understanding of IT processes such as requirement management, change management, problem management, and incident management as well as solution design, development and testing methods

  • Good understanding of Record-to-Report process

  • Positive and solution-oriented person

  • Motivation and ability to grow into more demanding IT roles

  • Collaborative, team-oriented and with strong communication skills

  • Strong coordination skills, and capability to advance different tasks in the schedule

  • Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English
